SOCIALIST BIRTH IN INDIA

It was the time of freedom movement in India. As the part of it Gandhiji had announced a non co-operative movement. so many young Indians have associated this movement. Among them,Jayaprakash Narayanan, Usuf Mehrally,Achuth Padvardhan,Asok Mehtha,M.R.Massani, S.M Joshi are the prominent. During the jail term they have decided to form a socialist group in the Indian National Congress. After the jail term they gathered and established a Socialist organisation in the Congress.It was known as CONGRESS SOCIALIST PARTY. This formation was in 1934.
